You’ve just traveled thousands of miles to a foreign land so you can get a great educational experience. However, what is the college experience without friends? Your college friends are often the ones you keep with you the rest of your life. So you might be thinking: “great, but where do I start?”. Right here. With the vast growth of the internet and the medium of social networking, you can make your new school friends from home!
Just follow these simple instructions:

| This information will not be shared with anyone you do not want it to be shared with. | Step 4: Confirm your account Link: Go to the email client of whichever email you used and you will have received an email from Facebook, with instructions on how to confirm your account (usually a link). At this point you will be redirected back to Facebook.com. Considering you are new to Facebook, you will not currently have any friends to add. The next step in confirmation is filling out your basic geographical information. |

| You can choose to do this now or skip it and do it later. The next step of choosing a network (the area you would like to make friends in), is also skippable. | |
| Step 5: Editing your profile Once inside your completed account you can edit an array of information about yourself, such as hobbies, interests, music and movie taste, etc. You can also later use these things to find freinds with similar taste. And don't forget to join our LACC International Student Group once inside.
